Jaime King, born April 23, 1979, is an American actress and model who has appeared in magazines such as Vogue, Mademoiselle and Harper’s Bazaar.

In addition to her career as a model, King went on to become an actress. King began her acting career in 1998 by taking small roles. Her first major role was in the 2001 epic war drama Pearl Harbor. King’s first starring movie role was in the 2003 martial arts action film Bulletproof Monk alongside Chow Yun-fat and Seann William Scott.

After her early roles in Pearl Harbor and Bulletproof Monk, King has since appeared as a lead in other films, such as Sin City in 2005 and My Bloody Valentine 3D in 2009. She also appeared in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, reprising her role from the original movie. From 2011 to 2015, King then starred in the television series Hart of Dixie.

In April 2018, King and her son were attacked in their car in Beverly Hills. The man, identified as 47-year-old Paul Francis Floyd, jumped in front of the actresses’ parked Mercedes-Benz and crawled onto her hood before smashing her windows. Floyd was charged with felony child endangerment, battery, and felony vandalism.

King is married to Kyle Newman, a film director. On May 3, 2013, it was announced that King and her husband were expecting their first child. Their first son, James Knight Newman, was born on October 6, 2013. In February 2015, King announced she was pregnant with the couple’s second son. Their second son, Leo Thames, was born July 16, 2015.

Kacey Musgraves is an American country music singer and songwriter, whose most recent album Golden Hour was released on March 30th, 2018. She has numerous hits and is known throughout the country world for her singing and songwriting ability, but also, because she is straight up beautiful.

Musgraves was born on August 21st, 1988, in Golden, Texas, the daughter of a small business owner and artist. She began songwriting at just eight years old, penning a song called “Notice Me” for her elementary school graduation. She first learned to play the mandolin, which eventually expanded into other instruments including the guitar.

She was first discovered in 2008 while living in Austin, Texas, and was signed to a record deal in 2012. She even joined country band Lady Antebellum on tour in the United Kingdom in 2012. Her first single “Merry Go Round” was released on her debut album Same Trailer Different Park in 2013. These did so well that she was nominated for four Country Music Awards, including Female Vocalist of the Year. She also was nominated for four Grammys that year, tying Taylor Swift and Lorde for most by a female vocalist that year.

Musgraves is also well known for inserting liberal viewpoints into her songs. As country music is dominated by Conservatives and other right-leaning politics, she caused quite a stir by preaching things like homosexuality acceptance, safe sexual intercourse, recreational marijuana use and even questioning religious sentiment.

Since her breakthrough years, Musgraves has released two more albums and has shown no signs of slowing down.

Paul Francis Floyd, 47, has been identified as the homeless man responsible for attacking actress Jamie King while she was in her car. Floyd was charged with felony child endangerment, battery, and felony vandalism.

According to reports, Floyd jumped onto the hood of King’s parked Mercedes before allegedly smashing the front window. Floyd then reportedly jumped onto the rear windshield. King was not in the car at the time, but her four-year-old son James Knight Newman in the back seat, getting struck by glass from the smashed window. King’s friend was in the driver’s seat at the time.

The Beverly Hills Police Department said that Floyd was charged with felony child endangerment, misdemeanor battery and two counts of felony vandalism. He is currently being held on $100,000 bail and has a court appearance scheduled for Friday, April 6.

via USA Today:

Police said in the statement they “received several calls of a vehicle vandalism in the 400-block of N. Bedford Drive.” Newman was in one of two vehicles vandalized “by kicking and jumping.” King was not inside the vehicle at the time, but her female friend was with Newman, according to police.

“The four-year old child was secured in a child car seat positioned in the back seat of the vehicle as the suspect jumped on the rear windshield causing glass to shatter and strike the child,” reads the statement. “In an effort to protect the child, the female driver exited the vehicle and confronted the suspect at which time he threw a can at her, striking her arm.”

A rep for King did not immediately return USA TODAY’s request for comment.

According to a 2015 report by the Los Angeles Times, 14 homeless people were living in the area where King was attacked.

USA Today reports that a rep for King did not immediately return their request for comment.

Here’s Where You Can Get Free Stuff For #NationalBurritoDay

Do you like burritos? Do you love burritos? Of course you do! The only thing better than a burrito is a free burrito! Well, do we have news for you! Today, April 5, 2018, is National Burrito Day! More importantly, free (or at least discounted) burritos are out there, for the taking, just waiting for you! We have all that you need on where to go and what you to need to know to get burritos!

Just keep in mind, some places vary by location, some offers are only available at participating stores and some deals require that you print out a coupon! Still, you can get burritos at a discount when you know you’ll eventually buy a burrito, so why pay at full price? Take a look and don’t forget to tell us what you think in the poll below!

Where are the free burritos at?

Blue Coast Burrito

Instagram Photo

I said there would be free burritos out there and there are. Go to Blue Coast Burrito and if you buy a burrito, then you’ll get a free burrito.

Chuy’s

Some places want to give you burritos, but some burrito places just want you to give…as in give back to the community; partnering with St. Jude, for every “Big As Yo Face” burrito sold on National Burrito Day at Chuy’s, a dollar goes to the charity, excluding the locations in Alabama and South Carolina.

Del Taco

Some places are giving out discounts on burritos, others are getting more creative. At Del Taco, if you purchase a pair of burritos, worth around $5, you get a free order of French fries. That’s right! Burritos with French fries! Clearly, this is an age to be alive!

El Pollo Loco

Instagram Photo

Don’t worry, there are still places giving out free burritos. At El Pollo Loco, you can get a free burrito with the purchase of another burrito of equal or greater value. There is one catch: you need to print out this coupon and present it at the store. Because this crazy chicken is crazy like a fox!

Jimboy’s Tacos

Instagram Photo

Jimboy’s Tacos is giving away their bean and cheese burritos for only $2 each, which is normally sold at $4 each. Essentially, you are getting it half off. Alternatively, you can buy twice the amount that you usually do!

Mad Dog & Beans

If you live in the New York City area, Mad Dog & Beans will offer a free beer with the purchase of a burrito. Between Mad Dog and Crazy Chicken, I’m not sure why all these insane animals are in the Mexican food industry, but I’m not going to question it, although donkeys would be the more obvious choice…

Qdoba

Instagram Photo

Some places are local but some places are around the country. Qdoba is offering free burritos with the purchase of another burrito throughout its locations.

Rubio’s Coastal Grill

Instagram Photo

All you need to do is buy a beverage and you will get a $5 burrito. That said, you need to print out the following coupon.

Zaba’s Mexican Grill

Instagram Photo

If you live in the Las Vegas area, you can get a burrito for only $5 for National Burrito Day at participating restaurants.

Moe’s Southwest Grill

Instagram Photo

Technically, it’s not for the holiday, but it’s a deal so you should know about it. If you download their app, you get free nachos and a free burrito on your birthday. If your birthday just happens to fall on National Burrito Day, it’s all the more reason to enjoy!

Taco Bell

Instagram Photo

Yes, Taco Bell. Good, sweet, faithful Taco Bell has not forgotten you on this day of days. Nor should you forget it. We were merely saving the best for last. For National Burrito Day, Taco Bell is adding Triple Melt Burritos to their dollar menu. On a related note, Taco Bell already has a dollar menu, complete with burritos, among other things. It’s like they’ve been watching over us all along. On another related note, you apparently can get nacho fries added to your burrito, but you probably have to pay extra.

Are you excited for National Burrito Day 2018?

What Soccer Records Will Never Be Broken?

In the Real Madrid vs. Juventus match on April 3, Cristiano Ronaldo scored what could be described as a perfect goal. After skillfully timing a cross, Ronaldo got serious air and bicycled kicked the ball into the net. Even Juventus supporters stood up to applaud the forward. It was an unbelievable moment in soccer history. He’s not the only one to make soccer history though. Here are some other players who on top of creating a memorable moment, shattered records.

Ledley King: Fastest Premier League Goal

Instagram Photo

In December 2000, after kick-off, it took Ledley King of Tottenham Hotspur only 9.9 seconds to score. He had picked up a stray ball from a deflected header and then shot a hopeful ball towards the goal. The ball went past Bradford City’s goalkeeper and then the history books were taken out to add King’s name as the newest addition. In 18 years, his record has yet to be broken.

Lionel Messi: Most Goals In One Season

Instagram Photo

It’s no secret that Lionel Messi is a phenomenal player so it is only expected that he would be a record-holder. In his 2011/12 season playing with FC Barcelona, the forward had one of his best seasons to date. Out of 60 appearances, Messi racked up a whopping 73 goals. It will most certainly be a tough act to beat.

Asmir Begović: Longest Goal Scored

Instagram Photo

In November 2013, less than a minute into the match, Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begović sent a long kick upfield. To everyone’s shock, the ball found its way into the back of Southampton’s net making it the longest goal scored ever. Measuring at 91.9 m, the goal earned Begović a spot in the Guinness World Records.

Rogério Ceni: Most Goals Scored By A Goalkeeper In A Career

Instagram Photo

Sao Paolo goalkeeper Rogério Ceni was quite the anomaly. An expert at free-kicks and penalties, Ceni accumulated 129 goals over the course of his career. Additionally, he holds the record for the longest career as a player and captain of the same team.

Ronny Heberson: Fastest Shot

Instagram Photo

In 1996, David Hirst of Sheffield Wednesday clocked in a shot at 114 mph. However, it doesn’t compare to Ronny Heberson’s shot in 2006. The Sporting Lisbon player let loose such a powerful free-kick that it’s difficult to even see the ball in video footage. Luckily no players made the mistake of trying to stop the 131 mph shot.

On Wednesday, April 4, New York City police officers shot and killed a black man after he allegedly pointed what they believed was a gun at them. The victim was later identified as 35-year-old Saheed Vassell.

After the shooting, Chief of Department Terence A. Monahan said that Vassell was actually holding “a pipe with some sort of knob on it.” According to reports, the incident started shortly before 5 p.m., when police say they received three separate 911 calls from Brookyln of a man aiming what was originally described as a “silver firearm.”

NYPD officers arrived at the scene to find a man matching the description provided by the 911 callers. Four officers discharged their weapons at Vassell, firing 10 shots in total. The officers applied first aid and called for an ambulance to take him to Kings County Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

via NY Daily News:

A bipolar Brooklyn man waving a metal object at passersby was fatally shot by police Wednesday when cops responding to 911 calls for a man with a gun said he “took a two-handed shooting stance” and pointed at them.

The man, identified by family members as Saheed Vassell, 34, was a Jamaica-born welder and the father of a teenage boy.

Police said they were responding to three 911 calls that came in around 4:40 p.m. about a black man wearing a brown jacket waving what people thought was a silver gun on the corner of Utica Ave. and Montgomery St., NYPD Chief of Department Terence Monahan said at a press conference.

According to the NY Daily News, Andre Wilson, 38, said he’s known the victim for 20 years, describing him as a quirky neighborhood character.

“All he did was just walk around the neighborhood,” he said. “He speaks to himself, usually he has an orange bible or a rosary in his hand. He never had a problem with anyone.”

Saheed’s father-in-law, Eric Vassell, said Saheed suffered from bipolar disorder but was harmless.

Stephon Clark Shooting: How The Sacramento Kings Have Followed Through On Their Promises

$

On March 22, the Sacramento Kings had had an option: ignore the reality outside their arena, or speak up.

Local activists had taken their anti-police brutality demonstration to Golden 1 Center in response to the death of Stephon Clark. Clark, 22, was shot to death by Sacramento police officers in his grandparents’ backyard four days prior. The two officers, responding to a vandalism complaint, pursued Clark onto the property. Mistaking his cell phone for a gun, they shot at Clark 20 times before giving him the opportunity to put up his hands. Further, the officers waited to call medical personnel and subsequently muted their body cameras. The story spread rapidly, aided by the quickly-released body cam footage.

Peaceful protesters took to the streets, chanting inside of Sacramento City Hall, shutting down Interstate 5, and landing at Golden 1 Center on the night of a Kings home game versus the Atlanta Hawks. Blocking arena entrances, the demonstration pressured law enforcement to lock the doors out of an abundance of caution. As a result, only about 2,000 fans were present for the game, which was delayed; after the game, attendees were addressed by Kings owner Vivek Ranadivé:

Instead of condemning the protests outside, Ranadivé made an earnest declaration: “we’re gonna work really hard to prevent this kind of a tragedy from happening again.” Ranadivé and the Kings decided to utilize their “big platform” to call attention to police violence and indicated that they were prepared to get to work with the Sacramento community in order to evoke change. Whether or not Ranadivé would truly make a commitment remained unclear that night–could it have just been lip service?

No empty promises here. The Kings players kept the discussion flowing while the organization around them facilitated their cause. On the Sunday following Ranadivé’s unprecedented pledge, the Kings and the visiting Celtics warmed up in t-shirts which demanded accountability for Stephon Clark’s murder. The powerful off-court alliance between the teams led to a public service announcement aired during the game:

It’s bigger than basketball. Al Horford makes it plain: “There must be accountability.” In the 30-second clip, players including Zach Randolph, Marcus Morris, Jaylen Brown, and Buddy Hield implore the necessity of change and reference the inevitable discomfort of it. The featured players span a 22-year age range, represent three continents, and agree on one thing: there is an epidemic, and silence is not an option.

On March 29, it was announced that the Sacramento Kings would engage in a multi-year partnership with the local Black Lives Matter chapter and the Build. Black. collaborative initiative. In this revolutionary move, the Kings have made a commitment to transformational change in specifically black communities. Instead of softly preaching unity, the Kings are unabashedly recognizing the very particular issues afflicting Sacramento’s black population.

Build. Black. is a coalition with focalized ambition: investing in and uplifting Sacramento’s black youth. With Build. Black. as a guide, the Kings will be advocating for health equity and access, justice and policing in black communities, and investment in black neighborhoods and businesses. The Kings will be supporting education, workforce preparation, and economic development alongside the coalition of youth advocates, faith leaders, non-profits, and police accountability experts among other community leaders–all in the interests of black youth, their families, and the greater community.

This is an extraordinary moment. By also joining forces with Black Lives Matter–a decentralized, grassroots liberation movement often demonized as a terroristic, extremist organization–the Kings are peeling away layers of general resistance to the mission of the campaign. By publicly endorsing Black Lives Matter, the Kings have turned a page; the NBA’s support of the efforts in Sacramento will only further legitimize the relationship.

On March 30, Garett Temple, Vince Carter, and Kings legend Doug Christie held a panel at “Kings & Queens Rise: A Youth Voice Forum for Healing,” organized by Build. Black. at the South Sacramento Christian Center. Temple, Carter, and Christie explored the essentials of listening, healing, and communication in order to create what Christie calls a “blueprint.” They are making plans for the transformative change they will be working to evoke in Sacramento and the country at large, and the first step is communication; Christie emphasizes that if we don’t want to stagnate in our commitment to supporting each other, we must communicate.

Following the panel, Temple described the “amazing” forum as “part of the change that we’re gonna create.” Carter maintained, “we’re here because we want to [be], not because we’re looking for any media coverage.” Press coverage will be crucial for spreading the word, but this is no vanity mission for the Kings. They’re all in.

This collision of social justice reform with the NBA has been a crucial moment for Kings players, past, present, and future.

Instagram Photo

On March 23, news broke that former Kings All-Star DeMarcus Cousins had reached out to Stephon Clark’s family, hopeful to field their funeral expenses. The remarkably generous Cousins devoted time, energy, mentorship, and millions of dollars to Sacramento during his six and a half seasons playing there; he continues to care for and be a resource to Sacramento youth despite being traded from the Kings to the New Orleans Pelicans. In 2015, Cousins paid for the funeral of local high school football player Jaulon Clavo.

Instagram Photo

Harry Giles, a 19-year-old Kings rookie, told the Sacramento Bee‘s Jason Jones that just a year and a half ago, he wouldn’t have expected himself to “be talking about stuff like this.” He points to Sacramento’s response to Stephon Clark’s death as part of his growth, acknowledging that he’s a teenager with a substantially different platform from a 19-year-old college sophomore. Giles is “still trying to learn … still trying to find a way to get more comfortable to talk about” topics like police brutality and systemic oppression while on the slippery slope of being an athlete in the public eye. He is lucky to be surrounded by veterans like Temple, who has emerged as the Kings’ figurehead in their effort to collaborate with the community, and Carter, who is more than twice Giles’ age.

Matt Barnes, Sacramento native and former King, is heavily invested in the aftermath of the Stephon Clark shooting. The newly retired NBA champion responded immediately to the disgraceful police killing in his hometown. Barnes was distraught, worried for his twin boys’ futures–but he mobilized. Making good use of his celebrity, Barnes turned to the media, and ultimately organized a rally in Stephon’s name. Barnes, who won his first NBA title in 2017 with the Golden State Warriors, scheduled his March for Action for March 31, the afternoon before the Kings would host the Warriors.

While Barnes was hopeful that members of the Kings organization and his former Warriors teammates would join him, only Temple made an appearance. It’s well-documented that the Warriors and coach Steve Kerr are unafraid and unapologetic when it comes to speaking on social and political issues (they were uninvited to a White House they didn’t plan to attend anyway, and chose to celebrate their championship by treating local D.C. kids to a trip to the National Museum of African-American History and Culture), so it was surprising that the Warriors did not take advantage of the opportunity. Sacramento is just 80 miles up the road from Oracle Arena, where the Warriors play; this is their community too. When asked about the choice to not attend, Kerr explained that it was up to his players. Kevin Durant, in turn, said that while he and his teammates supported Barnes and the Clark family, the team had “a job to do.”

Barnes announced a commitment to funding the education and futures of Aiden and Cairo Clark, Stephon’s two young sons left fatherless. Acknowledging that “this is not a Sacramento problem” and in truth is a national epidemic in all black communities, Barnes expressed his plan to do as much as he possibly can in order to be a voice and vehicle of change.

Today, Sacramento is a hotbed of activism. The support of an NBA team is a significant development. Vivek Ranadivé and his organization won’t be sitting idly by, and hopefully, they can influence the league at large. The Kings have set an example: making explicit commitments to social justice reform is no small thing, but most crucially no bad thing. Facilitating growth and advocating for the well-being of the communities around NBA arenas is vastly more important than what happens on the hardwood.

On April 4, an unarmed, allegedly mentally ill black man was shot to death by police officers in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Saheed Vassell was holding what appeared to be a gun but was actually a showerhead. Vassell, well known in the community, did not pose any legitimate danger when he was shot 10 times. Residents have begun protesting the unjust killing of their neighbor. Will the Brooklyn Nets take from what they’ve learned from the Sacramento Kings and respond?

University Of Ohio Study Reveals Startling Number Of Head Injuries In An Unexpected Industry

The University of Ohio recently conducted a study on a surprising correlation between a rise in traumatic brain injuries and the performing arts. Much attention is being paid to sports–particularly football– and their impact on the human brain. There are a number of cases that have arisen of former players confessing that they have dealt with chronic brain issues, such as epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, and Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy(CTE), since leaving sports, with some players tragically taking their own lives after developing these severe mental problems. CTE has become one of the most well-known diseases to come out of these findings because it, unfortunately, cannot be accurately diagnosed until after death.

Former pro athletes such as Junior Seau, Andrew Waters, and Jovan Belcher were all confirmed to have had CTE after their deaths. All men had tragically taken their own lives, after developing severe depression, of which their CTE was suspected of playing a cause in. In Belcher’s case, he had also murdered his girlfriend before committing suicide.

Sports are, of course, not the only area where people could possibly develop these sorts of injuries. The performing arts, which involves a lot of physical activity, has now been linked to a rise in TBIs as well. The University of Ohio study, co-authored by s co-authored by Jeff Russell, an assistant professor in Ohio University’s College of Health Sciences, and Brooke Daniell, who collected data for the study as a senior athletic training undergraduate in the School of Applied Health Sciences and Wellness honors program, revealed some startling information.

According to their research, 67% of people surveyed had experienced at least one head injury that was theater related, 39% had suffered more than five, and 77% had injured their head at least three times. Out of those numbers, 70% admitted to having concussion-related symptoms. These are rather grim numbers, to say the least.

When asked why this was such new information, Russell said:

“There are probably several reasons for non-reporting…In this particular industry, they don’t recognize how serious the injury is and they’re not accustomed to having healthcare close by like a sports team would. Some will keep going because if they don’t work, they don’t get paid. Some don’t want to be seen as not tough enough, particularly in the stunt industry.”

One of those surveyed, Fior Tat, a sophomore studying theatre at Ohio, confessed to hitting her head and then “feeling a little off.” She also admitted that if an injury such as this had occurred during a show, she would have performed through the pain. “You just don’t want someone to tell you that you can’t do it,” Tat said.

Much like their counterparts in sports, people are afraid that if they say they are injured, then they will be replaced and lose work.

Russell went out to elaborate further:

“You don’t think of performing artists the same way you do sports athletes. Football is about collision. You don’t think about that in performing arts. They’re doing their work where they’re building things, moving equipment and often working backstage where it’s dark,”

This news raises concerns for youth participating in theater programs and whether or not better advice and precautions should be introduced to prevent injuries such as this. According to Russell, a guidebook to theater safety that is issued to those participating in performing arts includes less than one page on head protection.

Russell went on to say that all those participating in theater productions should wear proper headgear in an effort to prevent such injuries and even emphasized that the University of Ohio requires students to do so.

He went on to say that head injuries in this industry must be treated with the same attention as those in professional sports and that someone’s brain is more important than any production or performance. Let’s hope that studies such as these cause people to raise awareness surrounding TBIs in performing arts.

Top 5 Most Shocking WrestleMania Moments Of All Time

WrestleMania is a magical event for wrestling fans all around the world. The “showcase of the immortals” creates legends and stunning memories that live on forever in WWE history. Some WrestleMania moments can be so shocking that fans are left watching on in a state of disbelief. The phrase “anything can happen in the WWE” is a very true statement, especially accurate when it comes to the grandest stage of all, WrestleMania.

Here are the top 5 most shocking WrestleMania moments of all time.

5. Triple H Betrays D-Generation X And Joins The Corporation – WrestleMania XV

At WrestleMania XV, Triple H joined forces with Chyna and it seemed as if D-Generation X was a well-oiled machine once again. Later in the night, D-X member X-Pac battled Shane McMahon for the European Championship while corporate stooge Test lurked at ringside. Triple H and Chyna came out to possibly even the odds. But when X-Pac seemed prime for victory, Chyna distracted the referee and Triple H dropped X-Pac with a Pedigree. Shane retained the European Championship.

Triple H had effectively betrayed his boys from D-X. The New Age Outlaws ran out to retaliate and back-up the beaten down X-Pac, but they were struck down as well.

When I first found out that Triple H had betrayed D-Generation X and joined the Corporation, I literally cried and my mom had to call my dad at his job. I was seven years old at the time, so give me a break (Lulz). This is how shocking the moment was, it literally reduced a little boy to tears.

4. Seth Rollins Shocks The World At WrestleMania 31

Instagram Photo

Roman Reigns seemed destined for victory against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31, and many fans hated it. Ever since Reigns won the 2015 Royal Rumble, the WWE Universal universally turned on “The Big Dog.” The vocal audience at Levi’s Stadium visibly rejected Reigns from the moment he walked through the curtain at WrestleMania 31. Fans might have rioted if “The Big Dog” prevailed and won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Therefore, WWE officials obviously went with a more acceptable alternative: insert Seth Rollins.

The crowd erupted when Rollins’ music hit. No one had ever cashed in their Money In The Bank contract at WrestleMania or during the middle of a match. This move was both shocking and satisfying to the WWE Universe. Rollins curb-stomped his way to victory and into the history books.

3. “The Slam Heard Around The World” – Hulk Hogan Body-Slams Andre The Giant At WrestleMania III

Instagram Photo

Hulk Hogan struggled throughout much of the match as he wrestled a true mountain of a man. Andre dominated the Hulkster, but he couldn’t suppress the power of Hulkamania. Hogan overcame the might of the giant and pulled off the near impossible, taking Andre down with what would be called “the slam heard around the world,” which is considered the first big-time WrestleMania moment.

The match had been advertised as “the irresistible force” WWF Champion Hulk Hogan going up against an “immovable object” Andre The Giant. Hogan was not only able to move The Giant, but the WWE Universe as well. Together, Andre and the Hulkster made a truly unforgettable WrestleMania moment. Andre was also reportedly undefeated for nearly 15 years going into the event, which definitely added a lot of hype and prestige to the match.

Hogan took Andre down with the body-slam and then finished off this legendary encounter with an Atomic Leg Drop. That’s one for the record books!

2. Stone Cold Steve Austin Sells His Soul To The Devil At WrestleMania X-7

Instagram Photo

Stone Cold’s feud with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon revolutionized the entire company, becoming the cornerstone of the Attitude Era. That’s why it was so shocking to see these two guys, who were constantly at each other’s throats, joining forces and shaking hands.

Austin was the bad-ass rebel, while McMahon was the billionaire boss. Together, the two made a diabolical duo dead-set on screwing The Rock out of the WWF (now WWE) Championship.

WWE play-by-play commentator Jim Ross remarked that Austin had sold his soul to Satan himself by joining forces with the nefarious Mr. McMahon. Austin had officially turned to the dark side.

1. Brock Lesnar Ends The Streak – WrestleMania XXX

The Undertaker had an unprecedented two decades of dominance at WrestleMania with a streak of twenty-one consecutive victories until he went one-on-one with “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar. A wave of disbelief fell upon the crowd after the three count was called by the referee. The fans in attendance couldn’t believe what they had just witnessed. The fabled streak of The Undertaker had evaporated before their very eyes by three F-5s from the conquer himself.

It’s still hard to accept that the streak was devoured by The Beast Incarnate. Since knocking off The Undertaker at WrestleMania, Lesnar has risen to the very top of food chain, systematically dominating the main event scene of Monday Night Raw.

Lesnar may have beaten the old lion in The Undertaker, but can he put down “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34? Both have defeated The Deadman at ‘Mania, but only one man will come out on top this Sunday.

Do you want to know who is winning right now in life? It’s Philadelphia Eagles WR Nelson Agholor, that’s who. Not only did he win the Super Bowl, but his girlfriend is stunningly hot. I mean talk about having the life right now. Go out catch a few passes in the Super Bowl then come home to Italian model Viviana Volpicelli; he’s doing it right.

Volpicelli attended USC which is where she and Agholor met but did not start dating until 2017. Smart move on her end, wait until you know he has made it as a pro before committing. You can’t have that body dating a failed NFL player. She graduated from USC with a Science degree.

Volpicelli is a beauty blogger where she gives advice on skincare, makeup, and fashion. You can find her blog here if you are interested. She frequently promotes Adidas, Gucci, Barney’s New York, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Kim Kardashian West.

Volpicelli attended the Super Bowl where she was pictured celebrating with Nelson Agholor on the field.

I’m still not sure what would be better winning the Super Bowl or getting to celebrate with Vivian Volpicelli? But, only Nelson Agholor has the answer to that. Damn you.

As an Eagles fan though, Nelson, please keep winning those Super Bowls.

If the name Abel Makkonen Tesfaye doesn’t ring a bell, then you better get your act together because that is the alter ego of The Weeknd! You may have heard of him through his singles, albums or even his mix-tapes, but he’s certainly someone who rose to the top to become a household name (or at least, a household stage name!) Let’s take a look at his life and career over the years, starting with his net worth.

Abel Makkonen Tesfaye Net Worth: $92 Million

Abel Makkonen Tesfaye’s net worth is estimated to be around $92 million. Let’s take a look at his career over the years to see just how he came so far.

The Early Years

Tesfaye was born in Toronto, Ontario, the son of Ethiopian immigrants to Canada who relocated to North America the decade before. For many periods of his early life, he was raised by his mother and grandmother. Tesfaye attended West Hill Collegiate Institute and Birchmount Park Collegiate Institute, although he did not graduate.

2010-2011

Tesfaye later took on the stage name “The Weeknd” as a performer; the name is intentionally misspelled to avoid trademark issues with a Canadian band called the weekend. In 2010, Tesfaye met with producer Jeremy Rose, with the two collaborating on an album that was eventually scrapped, along with some singles: “What You Need,” “Loft Music” and “The Morning.” Told he could release them as long he Rose was credited. By the end of the year, Tesfaye uploaded the three songs to his YouTube account under his stage name. The following year, Tesfaye self-released his debut mix-tape: House of Balloons, starting what would later become known as the Balloons Trilogy; the other two albums included Thursday and Echoes of Silence, released towards the end of the year. These mix-tapes would later help get Tesfaye noticed by record labels.

2012-2014

Instagram Photo

Starting his professional career, Tesfaye started his first tour of the United States with a performance at the Coachella Festival, he later expanded to European tours, including festivals in Spain, Portugal and London. By 2012, he later signed on with Republic Records in a joint venture with his own imprint, XO. Around this time, he released a compilation album based on his three mix-tapes, dubbed Trilogy. By 2014, he became more well-known for his singles, such as “Love Me Harder,” a duet with Ariana Grande, or “Eanred It,” a promotional song for Fifty Shades of Grey.

2015-Present

By the summer of 2015, Tesfaye released his second studio album, Beauty Behind the Madness, which debuted atop the Billboard 200. Believed to be the most-stream album throughout the year, he also became the first male artist to have simultaneously held the top three spots on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart around the time, although it was thanks to singles released before the album. By 2016, the following year, he issued his third studio album, Starboy. More or less treated as both his fourth studio album and his first extended play, he released the mini album My Dear Melancholy, in 2018.

Rick Pitino Denies Wrongdoing In Dan Patrick Show Interview

In a salacious interview on the Dan Patrick Show, former Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino defended himself against allegations of illegal recruiting tactics, such as paying prospects and enticing them with strippers. He also explained why he would come out on top of the ongoing lawsuit he is involved in.

On the subject of strippers in dorm rooms, Pitino denied any knowledge, claiming further that his assistants knew nothing of the matter, neither. He went on to cite findings from the NCAA. “They interviewed over 118 people, the NCAA…” he said when pressed by Patrick, “that said Rick Pitino had no knowledge, nor his assistant coaches.” He also argued that he could not have known because he did not keep track of how his players spent “Friday and Saturday nights.” He called the concept of stripper parties “reprehensible.” He did not, however, deny that these parties took place, saying that he knew of “four” occasions on which they happened. His central argument was that he simply had no knowledge of them at the time.

Pitino argues that a new board of trustees at Louisville “jumped the gun” in firing him, who he says “had no clue to what I am, what I’m about at all” and were more interested in “cleaning house” than taking a genuine moral stance.

On the Brian Bowen scandal, Pitino once again denies knowledge of wrongdoing, which in this case was an alleged 100,000 dollar payment to a prospect (Bowen) and/or his representatives. He cites a passed polygraph test he took in the immediate aftermath of the scandal breaking in September as evidence for his innocence. He claims he wouldn’t even give “five hundred dollars” to Michael Jordan, his favorite all-time player, to come play for him.

Asked about the rumors that he was offered the head coaching job at the University of Rhode Island, Pitino says “no I was not,” though he has “great memories” at nearby Providence, where he coached in the 1980s, and “loves the state.” He does say, however, that contacted by another school, which he does not name, and that the NCAA blocked the school from proceeding further with him.

When asked by Patrick whether or not he would believe his defenses if he was somebody else, Pitino responded “absolutely not,” but goes on to explain that within context, it surely all makes sense. He defends Miami Coach Jim Larranaga’s innocence in the FBI/NCAA investigation though he says “I don’t know about the other people involved.” Even so, he states that “90 percent of college basketball is clean,” but that like any other profession, there is “10 percent that’s not.” He declares that he is indeed part of the 90 percent and has never given a player “five dollars in [his] life.”

The Dan Patrick Show is available on DIRECTV CH. 239.

“Motherhood, fatherhood, tax evasion, sobriety, plastic surgery and low-carb living are some of the themes you’ll find in the series revival.”

Twitter Troll Tweets The N-Word At Arian Foster, Immediately Regrets It

Folks, it’s 2018, and not only are people are still somehow stupid and disgusting enough to be racist, but they’re actually stupid enough to put those horrendous and disgusting thoughts on the internet for everyone to see — employers, parents, and, unfortunately for this guy, writers like myself.

Now, usually when I come across a racist troll on Twitter, they’re quietly tweeting their bullshit vitriol to their 12 followers — 50% of which are family and the other 50% are #MAGA Twitter bots. But this guy, this guy was actually stupid enough to Tweet his horrible racism directly at Arian Foster, who immediately made the kid regret his decision.

Exploiting the inherent cowardice that resides inside of all racists, Arian tells the offender to put his money where his mouth is & repeat what he just said on camera. Obviously, the kid was immediately full of excuses, and shitty excuses at that:

Now, instead of deleting the tweet and apologizing for his repulsive behavior, the guy doubled down on his bigotry, saying that the issue is not with what he said, but that the people getting offended are simply “sensitive”:

Now, as you can see, I’ve censored out the racist’s name. You may find yourself asking, “But Eric, why bother censoring out his name when his original Tweet is still live on the internet for the entire world to see?” And that’s a great question, however, my answer is a rather simple one: I am not in the business of ruining lives.

If this guy wants to ruin his own future by sharing his own revolting societal views on social media and then leave it there for everyone to see, that’s on him, but I won’t accelerate his undoing– I’ll merely highlight it.

Is that more sympathy then this guy deserves? Probably. But I have a feeling when this is all said and done, hopefully, he will have learned his lesson. Oh, and Arian, if you’re reading this: on behalf of all 20-something-year-old white dudes, we aren’t all like this asshole, so I apologize.
