Dwane Casey is the former coach of the Toronto Raptors. Casey had coached the team from 2011 until the end of the 2017/18 season. He had also coached the Minnesota Timberwolves from 2005-2007. Casey has been a basketball coach since 1979 when he became an assistant coach for the University of Kentucky.

Dwane Casey Networth As Of 2018

When Casey signed his last contract with Toronto, it was for $18 million over three years. He was entering his third year of that contract when he was fired.

Early Life

Casey was born in 1957 and grew up in Morganfield, Kentucky. He got his coaching start at 13 years old when he coached a little league team of younger kids. He played basketball throughout his childhood and became a top recruit out of high school. Casey made the decision to commit to the University of Kentucky and during his junior year led his team to an NCAA tournament championship title. He declared for the NBA draft but was never drafted, prompting his professional coaching start at Kentucky.

Casey started his coaching career at Kentucky after he wasn’t drafted into the NBA. His head coach at Kentucky convinced him to come on as an assistant coach, and he did for a season, before deciding to move to Western Kentucky. He spent five seasons as an assistant coach for Western Kentucky before eventually moving back to his alma mater, where he spent another four seasons as assistant coach.

At this point, Casey was put on probation by the NCAA for allegedly bribing a top recruits father with $1,000. He was initially suspended for five years until they cleared him of the allegation. Because of this scandal, Casey accepted a head coaching job in the Japanese Basketball League with Sekisui Chemical. Between 1989-94, he coached in the JBL with Sekisui and the Izusu Motors Lynx. His JBL career came to an end when he accepted an assistant coaching job with the Seattle Supersonics.

1994-2011

Casey took the job with the Supersonics in 1994 and eventually left in 2005. Throughout his time in Seattle, Casey helped the team win four division titles. In 2005 he received his first big shot, he was hired by the Minnesota Timberwolves as their head coach. It didn’t all go to plan however as the Timberwolves went a disappointing 33-49 in his first season and his second season didn’t go much better. Mid-way through the next season, Casey was fired, leading him to join the Dallas Mavericks as another head coach.

Casey found success in Dallas. In his second season there, the Mavs won a division title and the following year, they defeated Lebron in the finals to take home Dallas’ first championship title.

After his run with Dallas and helping them win a title, Casey was hired as the next head coach for the Toronto Raptors. In his first two seasons, the Raptors failed to make the playoffs, not something surprising to the fans or ownership at the time seeing as the team was fairly awful. But starting with the 2013-14 season, the Raptors would make the playoffs every year and securing first place in the Atlantic division in four of the last five years.

Casey brought the team to their first conference semifinals and finals, as well as becoming the winningest coach in their history and leading them to their first 50 win season. Since 2015 the Raptors haven’t had less than 51 wins in a season and set their franchise record for wins this past season with 59.

On May 11, 2018, Raptors president Masai Ujiri announced that they were parting ways with Casey after seven years.

Police in Dexter are searching for an armed and dangerous man who they say stole a fully marked police cruiser. Identifying the suspect as Tyler Tibbetts, who was 22 years old at the time of the incident, police have asked the public to help find him. In addition, at this time, it is believed that the police were able to recover the stolen vehicle, but Tibbetts was still said to be at large.

What do we know so far?

According to Central Maine, police have issued the following description of Tibbetts:

“He is described as being 5’9″ tall, weighing 130 pounds and having brown hair and hazel eyes. He was wearing tan shorts and a salmon colored tee shirt, police said.”

In addition, he was placed in handcuffs when he stole the vehicle, which could have been identified by a number 3 on the front fender; the cruiser was eventually recovered by police with Tibbett still at large.

According to Wiscasset Newspaper, some early reports of the story said the number on the fender was a “2,” not a “3.

People with information about the case were asked to call “945-4643,” the number confirmed by Central Maine.

According to police, Tibbetts is said to be armed and dangerous; that said, specific information about Tibbetts’ initial arrest or the theft of the cruiser were not made available to the public.

Who is Tyler Tibbetts?

According to The Portland Press-Herald, the State Bureau of Identification confirmed that Tibbetts has an adult criminal record; in 2013, when he was a juvenile, he was found responsible for a theft and burglary by a judge in judge in Dover Foxcroft District Court, causing him to serve 18 days; however, he ended up violating his probation, causing him to be sent to jail for one year and a month.

Towards the end of 2013, Tibbetts was later charged by local police with felony aggravated assault; he was ultimately found guilty and served six months of an 18-month sentence.

The following year, he also paid restitution for a misdemeanor theft, requiring him to serve 30 days in jail for resisting arrest.

As this story is developing, more information will be updated as made available.

These Are The Most Heroic Superhero Costumes

$

Superhero’s have stepped out of the colorful comics and into the small and big screen. Some have succeeded in gaining ratings while others have crashed and burned. Take the recent leaked images that have popped up from the Justice League. People are concerned about the chosen costumes of the Justice League, they are sloppy and can not be compared to the artistic designs of the original comic book costume art. However, Hollywood can do a good job getting the details of a costume close enough to the comic version as they can. Great superhero costumes have been produced on screen, and fans have appreciated the costume designers in their creations of their favorite superhero’s. Here are the 20 best superhero costumes ranked.

#20 Wolverine

Instagram Photo

A pretty basic costume, not comparing to the yellow tights in the comic. Wolverine is a simple clothing that anyone can pull off. Luckily, with Hugh Jackman’s interpretation of Wolverine he does a good job of capturing the character. However, this isn’t an acting ranking. Wolverine’s costume from X-Men Origins comes at number 20 not because of how good it is but how bad all the other costumes of the superhero universe is on screen. The costume designers are lucky to just get the claws correct. But, despite the bad costumes in other big time movies, we can see that there will be some good ones coming up in the list.

#19 Human Torch

Instagram Photo

Most know that the original Fantastic Four movie was a big flop. The costumes were simple and did a good job comparing to the comics. The one that stood out the most was Johnny Strom and his fire powers as the Human Torch. With the success in CGI, the fire around the Human Torch was quite amazing, placing this costume at number 19.

#18 Arrow

Instagram Photo

Moving into the TV shows of DC. Arrow’s costume is quite different from his comic book hero. Not only was the show’s plot different from the comic but costume designers decided to take a little bit of a turn with the costume. With Arrows many costume changes throughout the series, none of them are able to compare to the original comic version. However, fans have praised the costume and likes the hero under a darker green hood. And no one can rock the costume better than Stephen Amell.

#17 Black Canary

Instagram Photo

Staying in the Arrow verse, we move onto the Black Canary. Alter ego of not only Laurel Lance but also Sara Lance too. Sara was the first to put on the canary mask and pulled it off quite well. It’s also a plus when the character can pull off the badass hero moves to take down their enemy. From comic to TV, the blond hair and black leather suit creates the perfect Black Canary.

#16 Vision

Instagram Photo

The costume is not accurate in the colors or cape style, but the way Vision moves in the MCU does allow for a similarity of the comic version and the big screen version. Even with the lack of similarity of the comic and screen costumes, the updated version is well needed and looks better than the comic version. Vision in the comics is basic, green, yellow and red. The new costume is one that fans love and fits with the MCU.

#15 Ant-Man

Instagram Photo

Ant-man’s suit in the MCU is fairly similar to the comic version. With the same gadgets and colors it’s a successful transition from comic to big screen costume. The only difference is the mask which gives it a Darth Vader look. The suit itself isn’t that big in detail, but putting it into the power of shrinking and resizing it’s a suit that looks like a safety suit to perform Ant-Man’s powers.

#14 Deathstroke

Instagram Photo

One of the best seasons for Arrow was during Deathstroke’s introduction. The assassin was adapted on screen with more of padding and armor rather than its tights in the comic. However, with the changes there is no negativity for how it was created. Props to the costume designer on the Deathstroke costume.

#13 The Rocketeer

Instagram Photo

A hero that hasn’t been talked about for a long time. His simple costume isn’t one people talk about. But comparing to the actual comic is amazing how similar they are to each other. The helmet is robotic but adds a steam punk theme that allows the audience to really see who the rocketeer is as a hero. Tying in the leather jacket and jetpack you have created the perfect Rocketeer costume for the big screen. It’s basic but a timeless creation that will never get old.

#12 Supergirl

Instagram Photo

With the show wrapping up its third season. We need to give praise to the costume designer who created the powerful female costume. In the comics, Kara Danvers, Supergirl wears a two-piece costume with a cape. In the TV version, it’s a one piece that’s simple but with the small detail of sewing and colors the Krypton symbol pops off the chest of our number 12 superhero costume.

#11 The Flash

Instagram Photo

Not the Arrow-verse Flash, but the DCEU Flash. This Flash was given a unique suit, one that is different from the comics. Same with most comic heroes, it’s all either leather or tights. In the DCEU, The Flash is given an armor makeover that gives a higher tech Flash. Add the CGI lightning bolts and you have the fastest man alive ready for battle.

#10 Superman

Instagram Photo

There have been many versions of Superman that have been successful but have also fallen to the deadly kryptonite of movie critiques. However, the recent Superman in the DCEU has done a successful job in creating a suit that keeps the red underwear inside rather than out. With the larger symbol and muscular tone of the suit it’s hard to say it’s not good. The only complaint that fans have had is the darker colors the costume produces, but this can be backed up with the ultimate tone of the DC universe presents in the movie. It’s a nice mix for our Man of Steel.

#9 Rorschach

Instagram Photo

One of the most accurate costumes in any film. Rorschach in the film, “Watchmen”, has everything that comic version has. From the fedora to the trench coat. And more specifically the mask and the way it moves. Rorschach’s costume has a darker color than its comic counterpart. This is similar to the Superman costume due to the fact the film produced a darker tone of the story.

#8 Thor

Instagram Photo

From the armor, cape, boots and hammer, the Asgardian god has made a large impact from his step from the comics to the big screen. Despite not having his helmet, Thor does rock the armor like suit in the MCU. With current updates to his looks of cut hair and less limb armor, Thor is still high up on our list of best on screen costumes.

#7 Doctor Strange

Instagram Photo

Probably one of the closest parings from the comic to screen. Not only is the costume identical to the comic, but the actual hero is too. The only noticeable changes are the cloak and eye. The updated cloak was a nice touch but the eye was added in to create the plot of the Doctor Strange movie. Even with the changes, the colors and robes still give Doctor Strange a powerful wisdom like power from just looking at the costume.

#6 Spider-Man

Instagram Photo

After two versions, five movies, and three different costumes, the MCU finally got it right with Spider-Man. The original Tobey Maguire costume was the closest, but with today’s CGI for the eyes and webbing gadgets, Spider-Man has really swung out of the comics and into the MCU.

#5 Wonder Woman

Instagram Photo

Stepping back into the DCEU with the dark tone of each movie, Diana Prince’s costume colors don’t pop but with the amount of armor and powerful female presents of Wonder Woman the costume is one of the best the DCEU has produced. Leaving out the tights and skirts, the Amazonian battle armor on the big screen will inspire young girls to be a powerful hero.

#4 Iron Man

Instagram Photo

The first MCU movie released in 2008 started out with a bang in correctly coming out with a replica Iron Man suit from the comic books. The colors, lights, and armor are accurate and who perfect to complete the hero Robert Downey Jr. portrays. There are many different versions of the Iron Man suit in the MCU. Three Iron Man movies, three Avengers appearences and a cameo in Spiderman: Homecoming, that racks up to about 48 suits or marks, stopping at the release of Avengers Infinity War. All of which take a step up from it’s original start in the first Iron Man movie.

#3 Batman

Instagram Photo

Like Superman, there have been many different Batman costumes and actors. Not looking at the actor but the DCEU costume which is the best Dark Knight costume that has come to the big screen. The symbol is larger on the chest and the darkness and different tones of the colors make it almost identical to the comic version. The costume stands out in the DCEU with the way Bruce is aging but still shows the desire to keep people safe no matter how deep his voice has to get.

#2 Captain America

Instagram Photo

The First Avenger has a different take from the comic version. The comic is cleaner and has less weapons on the body. The MCU Captain America is set in World War II making the suit as close to an army uniform it can get, with the type of material, weapons, and helmet; but with less camo and more red, white and blue. This suit also allows for the character’s personalities to show how dedicated he is to keeping people safe during the War.

#1 Deadpool

Instagram Photo

And at the top of our list is our favorite red bad mouth, Deadpool. After the failure in the 2009 X-Men Origins: Wolverine, it was time for Ryan Reynolds to finally get his chance to bring Deadpool back with the most comic accurate costume that has ever hit the big screen. Thanks to CGI Deadpool’s eyes are just like the comics. Moving with the facial expressions that occur under the mask and allow for humor moments during the movie. The coloring and costume patches on the body make the costume identical to the comic. It’s no wonder Reynolds took home the suit, and it’s a no brainer that Deadpool has hit the #1 spot on our top 20 superhero costume rankings.

Dave Bautista Net Worth 2018: How Much Is Bautista Worth?

Dave Bautista is an American actor, former professional wrestler, bodybuilder and mixed martial artist. As the man behind Drax the Destroyer in Marvel’s Avengers films, Bautista has become a leading man in Hollywood, but how does that success translate to his net worth?

Dave Bautista Net Worth As Of 2018: $13 Million

With 2018’s biggest movie already under his belt and another blockbuster in Hotel Artemis set to release on June 8, 2018, $13 million seems to be just the beginning for Dave Bautista. However, this Guardian of the Galaxy had quite the tough life before making it big. So just how did he get from the squared circle to the red carpet?

1969-2000

Instagram Photo
Born January 18, 1969, in Washington D.C., David Michael Bautista Jr had a rough childhood. Bautista’s parents, Donna Raye and David Michael Bautista Sr, separated and eventually divorced, and Bautista has said in the past that he lived in poverty. By the time he was seventeen, Bautista was stealing cars and living on his own. After finding work as a bouncer, Bautista was arrested when a fight with rowdy patrons left a man unconscious. He then turned his attention to bodybuilding and eventually professional wrestling.

2000-2006

Instagram Photo
At the age of 31, Dave Bautista was signed to Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), a developmental territory for WWF at the time. Bautista’s physique and athleticism made him a dominant performer, despite his rather late start in the profession. After just two years Bautista was promoted to the main WWF roster with the name “Batista” along with other notable OVW alums like Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar, and John Cena.

Batista’s first professional wrestling storyline had him acting as the “enforcer” for Reverend D’Von, but the charismatic superstar soon became much more popular than his tag-team counterpart. It wasn’t long before Batista turned on Reverend D’Von and began a career as a singles wrestler and his meteoric rise to the top of the professional wrestling world.

Batista would go on to be one of the most successful superstars that WWE has ever produced as a six-time world champion and a four-time tag-team champion. He’s also the longest reigning World Heavyweight Champion in WWE history at 282 days and a two-time Royal Rumble winner (2005,2014). His career, however, was not without its rough patches.

2006-2014

Instagram Photo
Bautista was known in the WWE for occasionally having a bit of an attitude that would get him in trouble. In 2006 Bautista would have a backstage fight with fellow wrestler Booker T in the leadup to the SummerSlam pay-per-view. Bautista was also known to have relationships with WWE Divas.

In addition to the backstage heat, in 2007 Dave Bautista was accused of using anabolic steroids. Named when ESPN released a lit of wrestlers associated with Signature Pharmacy of Orlando, Florida, one of many pharmacies under investigation for filling illegal prescription drugs, Bautista denied ever being a customer of the pharmacy.

In 2010, Bautista would eventually leave the WWE, saying he “did not like the direction the company was going in”. This absence from the world of professional wrestling would last until 2014 when he announced is return and entrance into the 2014 Royal Rumble, winning the match and headlining Wrestlemania 30.

2014-Present

Instagram Photo
Bautista’s first exposure into acting was alongside fellow pro wrestler Bob Van Dam and rapper Ja Rule in the direct-to-DVD film Wrong Side of Town in 2010. Bautista would then star in the cult favorite, The Man with the Iron Fists as the villainous Brass Body. But his first real breakout would come in 2014 as Drax the Destroyer in Guardians of the Galaxy. The film was a huge commercial success and well-received critically. As part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Bautista would reprise his role as Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, released in May 2017 and Avengers: Infinity War, released in April 2018.

Bautista’s other movies include Riddick (2013), Spectre (2015) and Blade Runner 2049 (2017) among many others. And with three more films set to come out this year alone, Drax won’t be standing still anytime soon.

Murray State University has indefinitely suspended all social activities for fraternities and sororities.

Robert Davies, the President of Murray State, and Don Robertson, the Vice President for Student Affairs Don Robertson, said in a statement that the university is suspending all Greek Life social activities. The suspension began on Wednesday, May 9, and may extend into the upcoming fall semester.

According to the statement from the university, the decision to suspended Greek Life activity was “based on national trends and own review of reports involving Greek activities occurring with the implementation and enforcement of Greek social event policy.” In addition, the letter says the department must assess Murray State’s policies and procedures.

Furthermore, the letter says that a university committee made up off representatives from the school’s Greek organizations will begin investigating those policies during the summer, continuing until it can make recommendations to the Office of Student Affairs.

You can read Murray State University’s entire statement below:

This is the latest major fraternity or sorority suspension or closure in the last year, as schools such as Indiana University, the University of Michigan, Ohio State University, Texas State, Florida State, Ball State, Louisiana State and Penn State have all suspended fraternities in the wake of hazing and alcohol deaths.

These reports come amidst similar allegations that have been made against fraternities nationwide, including Sigma Alpha Epsilon at East Carolina University, who were shut down for hazing and the Lamda Chi Alpha chapter at the University of Arkansas which has been accused of taking sexually explicit photographs of women without their permission.

In response to incidents like these, fraternities such Phi Kappa Psi have made numerous changes to their code of conduct in an effort to address the issues that have arisen. In addition, schools such as Texas State have introduced new Greek Life rules to try and prevent these problems.

Amanda Bobby Cooper is leaving to leave her mark on the mixed martial arts world, competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s strawweight division. Cooper competed on The Ultimate Fighter: Team Joanna vs. Team Claudia, reaching the tournament finals before losing to Tatiana Suarez in the season finale. Cooper got off to a slow start to kickoff her professional mixed martial arts career, but she has won two of her last three outings in the octagon and is hoping that a second straight win could begin her climb up the 115-pound ladder.

Cooper began boxing at the age of 11, but holds a purple belt in jiu-jitsu.

“I used to get on the mats and role around for three hours and my body never ached. But now I have to warm up for 15 minutes, I have to stretch, take the right proteins, I have to take care of my body better than I used to,” Cooper said, via the Lansing State Journal.

“I heal fast, I don’t have a broken nose. But you have to take care of your body if you want to do this for a long time. It’s hard now, I don’t have a job. I have to rely on, ‘I have to win this fight.”

Next up for Cooper is a meeting with undefeated jiu-jitsu ace Mackenzie Dern at UFC 224, which takes place Saturday, May 12 at Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro.

“She has bad standup. She throws the same strikes over and over again,” Cooper said in an interview with FloCombat.com. “I haven’t been too impressed. Lately her fights have looked worse than before, so that gives me a good mental edge knowing that I feel like I’m getting better and better.”

Cooper predicts a second-round TKO finish.

Azealia Banks is in the headlines after a calling out Cardi B during an interview on “The Breakfast Club” Friday, May 11. During the interview, Banks took a direct shot at the breakout hip-hop star calling Cardi B  an “illiterate, untalented rat.” Banks is unhappy with the way Cardi B portrays herself in the public light and believes there is a double-standard as “black industry men are too hype for this Latina girl.”

“I’m just talking about this caricature of a Black woman that Black women themselves would never be able to get away with,” she elaborated. “Like, if my spelling and grammar was that bad, I’d be canceled. If Nicki Minaj spelled like that, people would just be ragging on her all day. I’ve never seen that at the forefront of female rap. I didn’t know that the bar would be lowered so much. So, it’s kind of like a culture shock.”

Banks, a Harlem native, and Cardi B, a star from the Bronx, have a history of back-and-forth with Banks previously calling Cardi B a “poor man’s Nicki.”

Banks’ comments on Cardi B weren’t the only shots she fired during the interview, either. She had some harsh words for RZA, who she alleged is a cokehead.

“If RZA was smart he should have just shut the f— up,” Banks said. “We have a movie to promote. Who’s gonna wanna see a movie in which the director has slandered the lead actress? Like, what the f— are you thinking? Every time you’re like, calling me to go to the studio, I show up to the studio and you’re f—ing coked out.”

You can check out the full conversation with Charlamagne The God, DJ Envy, and the crew with comments about Cardi B beginning around the 21:40 mark.

Mercedes Terrell is the standout ring girl for Bellator MMA, the No. 2 mixed martial arts promotion. She has made a name for herself as a mainstay at Bellator events, dating back to the tournament days of Bellator Fighting Championships on MTV2. As a huge MMA fan, Terrell is the one who initially reached out to Bellator with the hope of eventually landing a gig with the promotion. Now that she is still with the company here in 2018, it’s safe to say that it all worked out.

“We actually had a contest at the beginning,” she said in a past interview with MMAjunkie.com. “I submitted a video talking about how much I love MMA and then [Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney] interviewed me, and I got interviewed by several other people at Bellator, and I got the spot.”

The 33-year-old model is known for her exotic looks, which come from her blend of Sicilian, Mexican, Welsh and German ancestry.

“The ethnicity people think I am depends on what side of the country I am. If I’m on the West Coast, they think I’m Mexican. If I’m the East Coast they think I’m Italian. In Middle America they think I’m Japanese because they have never seen a Mexican or an Italian. I’ve also gotten Middle Eastern and half black,” she said about her looks.

As for where you can expect to find Terrell when she’s away from the cage, all you have to do is look outdoors.

“I’m a big outdoors person,” Terrell said. “I grew up going to Supercross and being in the desert with my family. We all ride quads. My little sisters ride dirt bikes. I’m too clumsy and I’ll hurt myself. I drive sandrails. Anything in the dirt or the sand, I’m there.”

Megan Olivi is a fixture in the combat sports world. After joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship as a correspondent, Olivi has had the opportunity to travel the world and continues to be in front of the camera bringing mixed martial arts fans exclusive backstage interviews from the moments immediately after a major fight takes place.

Olivi was born in New Jersey, but was raised in Nazareth, Pennsylvania before returning to South Orange, New Jersey for her undergrad studies at Seton Hall.

Olivi moved to Las Vegas after finishing her undergrad studies at Seton Hall University and her master’s degree in Public Communications and Mass Media Studies at Fordham University. It was then that she fell in love with the sport and began climbing the ranks within the UFC. After a brief gig with the San Diego Padres, Olivi returned to the UFC where she now hosts UFC Ultimate Insider on FOX Sports 1 and makes various appearances across the network and during UFC broadcasts.

You can also see Olivi hosting her own show on UFC Fight Pass — “The Exchange with Megan Olivi” — while also hosting Fan Q&As with some of the UFC’s top fighters ahead of ceremonial weigh-in shows and other major events.

Olivi has been married to UFC flyweight contender Joseph Benavidez since 2015.

In her free time, when she’s not busy traveling the world with the UFC, she “enjoys spending time with her dog, hiking, running, doing yoga and cooking,” according to her website.

You may know Karyn Bryant as a current FOX Sports 1 reporter and host for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, but she has had a long and successful career that began well before her time with the UFC. Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Bryant eventually went on to obtain her bachelor’s degrees in political science and sociology from Brown University.

As a big fan of music — which you can tell from her “music snob” quip on social media — Bryant landed a gig as a VJ on MTV. She went on to host Sound fX on FX, before continuing her climb up the media ladder with TNT. Bryant has also worked with TBS, VH1, CNN, ESPN, and Showtime Championship Boxing.

Bryant took that dip into the combat sports world and turned it into another job with CBS where she joined the Elite Xtreme Combat announcer team. She went on to take her enthusiasm for mixed martial arts to launch MMAheat.com, which she co-owns, and ultimately her current job hosting “UFC Tonight” on FOX Sports 1.

You can also catch Karyn Bryant as an in-studio host on UFC pre-show and post-fight events on the network.

Karyn Bryant is a veteran reporter and on-air personality, most notably known by mixed martial arts fans for her time hosting “UFC Tonight” on FOX Sports 1 and being a regular interviewer and member of the panel during pre-show and post-fight broadcasts on the network leading up to and recapping the biggest events that the Ultimate Fighting Championship puts on.

But long before Bryant was involved in the mixed martial arts world, she was successful thanks to her love of music and even politics.

Bryant, who was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts to a mother of Jamaican descent, graduated from Brown University with bachelor’s degrees in political science and sociology. She eventually went on to work as an MTV VJ, for VH1, TNT, TBS, and a number of heavy-hitters. She was also a co-anchor on CNN’s “Showbiz Tonight,” along with a brief stint on CNN’s “Talk Back Live.” It was after her time at CNN that Bryant became involved in the sports world.

The 49-year-old joined ESPN for the Worldwide Leader’s first live New Years Eve show, before joining the commenting team with Showtime Championship Boxing alongside Steve Albert, Al Bernstein, and Jim Gray.

From there, there was no turning back as Bryant fully emersed herself in the MMA world.

Bryant went on to launch MMAheat.com, where she remains a co-owner to this day, joined CBS’ announcer team for Elite Xtreme Combat and its primetime broadcasts, before ultimately joining forces with FOX Sports 1 and the UFC.
