Katja Herbers is a Dutch actress best known for her role as Emily, the daughter of The Man in Black, on HBO’s Westworld. This is not Katja’s first role on HBO, though, as she played a scientist in the third season of HBO’s The Leftovers . Aside from her HBO roles, Herbers is best know nfor playing Dr. Helen Prins on the American television series Manhattan and Joyce on the Dutch show Divorce.

Herbers was born on October 19, 1980 in the Netherlands, however, she spent time growing up in America as her mother, a violinist, was on tour with the group L’Archibudelli. While growing up, Herbers learned to speak Dutch, German, and English.

Herbers studied psychology at the University of Amsterdam. During college, she attended the local theatre school De Trap. After graduating, she moved to New York and went to the HB Studio before getting accepted into the Theaterschool in Amsterdam, which she attended from 2001–2005.

Her acting breakout in the United States came in 2014 when she won the role of physicist Helen Prins in WGN America’s drama series Manhattan. She also landed a recurring role in the third season of FX’s The Americans.

In 2017, she appeared on the third and final season o The Leftovers for three episodes and well as being signed for a recurring role on HBO’s Westworld .

Chloe Brown will take the stage at Miss USA wearing the Miss Colorado 2018 crown. The 22-year-old Grand Junction native succeeded 2017 winner Sabrina Janssen and will attempt to become the first Miss Colorado USA to reach the Top 10 since Marybel Gonzalez in 2012. Brown got an early jump to her college career, graduating from high school at age 16.

She then received her dental assisting certificate before attending Arizona State University, which she graduated from with a Bachelors of Science in Health Policy. She is currently employed by DePuy Synthes Joint Reconstruction where she works as an orthopedic sales consultant.

Brown uses her studies to give back to charities like Give Kids a Smile and Special Smiles through the Special Olympics.

After a raucous Monday Night Raw, it’s SmackDown Live’s turn to put on a show in London. The upcoming Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View continues to take shape tonight on the blue brand. There will be qualifiers all around and a match that will have major implications on the Championship scene. Also, WWE will be putting on its own royal celebration tonight. What can we expect from the May 15th edition of SmackDown Live?

Tonight, SmackDown Live will be in The O2 Arena in London, England.

Tonight we find out who else will be joining Braun Stroman, Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Bobby Roode, The Miz, and Rusev in the Men’s MITB Ladder Match. One of the qualifiers will be decided in a somewhat odd way. It’ll be The New Day against The Bar for a spot. The last few weeks their rivalry has been ramping up, with The New Day even going as far as to replace all of The Bar’s belongings with pancakes. Xavier Woods scored a win two weeks ago against Sheamus in a singles match but lost to his partner from The Bar, Cesaro, the following week. This week they will settle things as a team. But how will it work for the winner? Only one person from the team that wins will be able to take place in the MITB Ladder Match. We’ll have to see how they settle that solo spot…

After weeks of videos teasing the arrival of Andrade “Cien” Almas on the blue brand, the former NXT Champion finally finds his way to Tuesday night with manager Zelina Vega. The duo bring a ruthlessness to SmackDown that the rest of the locker room will have to look out for. How will he make a statement and has his absence on the show thus far hurt his momentum? Almas excelled on NXT but the main roster is a whole new beast.

The Princess of Staten Island has decided that London is the perfect place to celebrate her reign as SmackDown Women’s Champion. Not to be outdone by the impending royal wedding, Carmella will expect the English crowd to shower her with the adulation she so deserves. Strong chance there are members of the SmackDown Women’s roster who won’t take the gaudy celebration lightly and will have something to say about it. Also, which member of the roster will be joining Ember Moon, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss in the Women’s MITB Ladder Match.

There will also be a face-off with major championship ramifications. AJ Styles will take on Shinsuke Nakamura and the winner of the match gets to chose the stipulation for their clash at MITB. This really seems like a must win for Styles. The amount of times Nakamura has hit him below the belt has been inhuman so it would be great if he could build the match to protect him from that. I can only imagine what Nakamura would do if he got to make the rules… We’ll just have to wait and see.

Will the Bludgeon brother show up to wreak more havoc on the tag team division? Will The IIconics continue their verbal assault on the Women’s division? What’s next for Daniel Bryan after last week’s loss to Rusev? There’s a lot to pack into tonights SmackDown Live, here’s where you can watch it.

Darrian Arch is the reigning Miss Indiana USA 2018 and will be taking the stage at the upcoming Miss USA pageant. The 23-year-old Chesterton native succeeded 2017 winner Brittany Winchester. Elizabeth Johnson is the reigning Miss Michigan USA 2018 and will represent her home state at the Miss USA pageant this year. The 25-year-old native of Detroit succeeded 2017 winner Krista Lauren Ferguson. She is aiming to give Michigan its first Top 10 finisher since Rima Fakih in 2010, who actually won the Miss USA crown. She graduated from Michigan State with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Media Management, and currently holds a job at Shift Digital as a Digital Consultant for Mercedes-Benz.

Johnson spends her free time volunteering as a mentor to young girls at a local organization called Vista Maria, which delivers innovative care, support, treatment, and education to vulnerable youth so that they heal, believe in their worth, and build the skills needed to succeed.

Krista Glover, the 36-year-old wife of professional golfer Lucas Glover, was arrested at a rented house in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida on Saturday, May 12, after she allegedly verbally and physically assaulted Lucas and his mother.

Glover was arrested on Saturday, May 12, Saturday in a house that she and Lucas had rented while he was playing in the tournament at Sawgrass TPC in Ponte Vedra Beach. She was charged with domestic battery and resisting arrest and faces up to one year in jail on each misdemeanor count if found guilty. The police report states that Krista’s husband Lucas attempted to stop deputies from arresting his wife by changing his witness statement. Deputies say the alleged attack was in front of their two underage children and Lucas’ mother. Neither Lucas or his mother required attention from paramedics.

Both Lucas and his mother suffered visible but minor injuries in the altercation. The police report says that Lucas stated that Krista becomes “violent every time he doesn’t play well in a major PGA tournament.”

Krista Glover was arrested at a Ponte Vedra, Fla., rental house where the couple was staying for the Players Championship. Glover, the 2009 U.S. Open champion, made the cut at TPC Sawgrass but missed Saturday’s secondary cut after shooting six-over 78.

According to statements given to deputies at the scene, the altercation began after Glover completed his round. Someone in the house called 911 to report a disturbance around 8:30 p.m. When police arrived, they found Lucas and Krista on the porch “in a verbal altercation.”

Lucas told police that “every time he plays poorly in a tournament, Krista begins yelling at him, stating he is a ‘loser’ and a ‘p—-‘”. Deputies also noted lacerations on the arms of both Lucas and his mother, Hershey Glover, who also had blood on her clothes. Krista had no visible injuries. Hershey said in her statement to police that she tried to stop an “altercation” between the couple at which point Krista began “striking Hershey in her arm.”

Lucas released a statement on Twitter, saying, “On May 12, my wife and mother were involved in an argument to which the police were called. Everyone is fine. Regrettably, although Krista was charged, we are comfortable that the judicial system is able to address what actually happened and Krista will be cleared in this private matter. We thank you for respecting our privacy as we work through this unfortunate situation.

Kelley Johnson is the reigning Miss California USA 2018 and will represent her home state at the upcoming Miss USA pageant. The 25-year-old Hermosa Beach native succeeded 2017 winner India Williams, who finished in the Top 10. Sierra Wright is the reigning Miss Delaware USA 2018 and will be competing in the upcoming Miss USA pageant. The 20-year-old Wilmington native, who was Miss Delaware Teen USA 2015, succeeded 2017 winner Mia Jones. Wright will be looking to become only the second-ever Miss Delaware USA to reach the top ten, joining Renee Bull (2015).

Season three of Total Bellas is upon us and everyone’s favorite wrestling twins will be back in our lives! Nikki Bella is the twin who loves glamour and the finer things. In the years she spent with the WWE and as a reality TV star, she must have accumulated a decent amount of income. We’ve all seen her luxurious life with John Cena but with her many ventures, she will definitely be able to continue whatever lifestyle she wants and be a juggernaut of her own now that she and Cena are seemingly done. Nikki and her sister Brie have built quite an empire around them. But how did Nikki become the success she is?

Early Life

Nikki Bella was born Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace in San Diego, California in November 1983. She was born 16 minutes before her twin sister Brianna. The two were raised on a farm in Scottsdale, Arizona. Nikki and her sister were both gifted soccer players even playing at Grossmont College but decided to give it up to move to Los Angeles and pursue acting and modeling. She would go on to book a few small appearances and was named the World Cup Twins for a Budweiser campaign in 2006 with her sister Brie. Nikki and Brie would be part of the 2006 WWE Diva search which they ironically were cut from. But things were about to change for Nikki and her future with the WWE.

Nikki Joins The WWE

Nikki and Brie were hired by the WWE in June 2007 and were sent to their developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling. In August 2008 Brie was brought up to the main roster on an episode of SmackDown and spent a little time there by herself. Until October 2008 when Nikki was a surprise reveal and the twins began working as a tag team. The Bellas would go on to be involved in rivalries between the Colons and The Miz and John Morrison. They also would spend time feuding with Eve Torres and each other. Brie would be the first Bella to win The Diva’s Championship in April 2011 but Nikki wasn’t far behind capturing her first Diva’s Title by defeating Beth Pheonix in April 2012. She would go on to lose the title to Layla only a week later when Brie was pinned and the referee thought it was Nikki. The Bellas were then fired by Eve Torres later that month. But the short title reign and the firing would soon be nothing more than a footnote.

WWE Return, Divas Record, And Total Divas

The Bellas made a couple appearances on the independent circuit but they ladies weren’t long for the small show appearances. The Bellas made their return to the WWE in March 2013. They were immediately reinserted in the storyline when they returned and the Twins never looked back. The Bellas became the face of the Women’s division. They were a focal point of Total Divas, a reality show that followed members of the WWE’s Divas Division that premiered in July 2013. Nikki would then enter into a feud with then Divas Champion, AJ Lee. In November 2014 Nikki defeated Lee for her second Divas Championship. This would be a career-defining moment for Nikki. She would hold on to the title for 301 days, setting the record for longest reigning Divas Championship. She would drop it to Charlotte Flair in September 2015. The title would soon be retired meaning that her record will never be broken. After dropping the title she took a hiatus to get surgery and focus on other projects.

Third WWE Return, Total Bellas, And Other Ventures

Nikki would return again in August 2016 and would periodically appear until Wrestlemania 33. She has since appeared at events like Raw 25 and the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble Match but has mostly transitioned away from wrestling full time due to other projects and a nagging neck injury. Nikki remains a focal point of Total Divas and even received a spin-off with her sister Brie called Total Bellas. It follows the lives of both women and their family. Nikki and Brie have also launched two companies. A clothing company called Birdie Bee and a wine brand called Bella Radici. Nikki is always looking for the next venture and it seems to come to her naturally.

Ashley Vollrath will be representing the Mother of States at Miss USA when she steps onto the stage as the reigning Miss Virginia USA 2018. The 22-year-old Blacksburg native succeeded 2017 winner Jacqueline Carroll. If Vollrath has an impressive run in the Miss USA competition, she will become the fourth Miss Virginia USA in five years to reach the top 20. Vollrath is a student at Virginia Tech and studies Multimedia Journalism. Outside of school, Ashley is a Washington Redskins Cheerleading Ambassador for the NFL franchise.

She hopes to continue her “Spread Your Wings and (F)orever, (L)ove, (Y)ourself,” campaign that encourages young people to never give up by telling her personal story of success after facing adversity, according to her official Miss USA bio.

Regina Gray is the reigning Miss Wisconsin USA 2018 and will be representing America’s Dairyland at the upcoming Miss USA competition. The 27-year-old Milwaukee native succeeded 2017 winner Skylar Witte, and she will be aiming to be only the fourth Miss Wisconsin USA in history to finish in the Top 10. She is an International Baccalaureate Scholar and was inducted into the Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society, studying communications and mathematics while in college.

After her father passed away prematurely due to a massive heart attack, she began working with the American Heart Association to spread heart health awareness in her community. She is now a state ambassador for AHA since claiming the Miss Wisconsin USA title.

Darling was bullied as a child and had to overcome a lack of confidence. She uses her past experience to deliver an emporing message to children and young adults that they can overcome any obstacles to accomplish their goals in life.

Kenneth Collard, a Los Angeles police officer, has been arrested and charged with the sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl in her home in nearby Torrance last month. Collard was hit with multiple charges, including four total counts. The Torrance Police Department began an investigation when the incident was first reported. Here is all of the information that we currently know.

What Happened?

Kenneth Collard, 51, was charged with three counts of lewd acts upon a child and one count of sexual penetration with a foreign object, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. Collard was reportedly staying at a friend’s home when he entered the victim’s room in the middle of the night and sexually assaulted her. Bail has been set for $400,000.

If convicted, Collard faces a maximum of 32 years in prison, according to ABC-7 Los Angeles.

“On April 4, Collard was staying at a friend’s house in Torrance. During the middle of the night he allegedly entered the victim’s bedroom and is accused of sexually assaulting her. The incident was reported to law enforcement,” a statement from the District Attorney’s office said.

Collard was assigned to the West Los Angeles division of the LAPD. He was assigned to remain at home since the investigation first began. Back in 2009, Collard was part of an officer-involved shooting during a robbery and attempted carjacking investigation. The suspect was shot dead.

The NBA Draft Lottery was held on Tuesday night in Chicago, the first time the event was held outside of the New York Metropolitan area. That means we now know the official 2018 NBA Draft order and the league’s top prospects can begin getting a clearer idea of where they may land.

Entering Tuesday night’s draft lottery, the Phoenix Suns had the best chance at landing the No. 1 overall pick with 25 percent odds. The Memphis Grizzlies had 19.9 percent odds, while the Dallas Mavericks and Atlanta Hawks held 12.9 and 12.8 percent odds, respectively. The Orlando Magic were the only other franchise to have greater than a 10 percent chance to land the top pick.

The 2018 NBA Draft will take place June 21, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. ET at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The draft will air live on ESPN.

Sonya Deville is looking to rise to the top of SmackDown Live‘s women’s division. Deville has been on the main roster of WWE since November 2017 and has already picked up key victories against wrestlers such as Sasha Banks, Mickie James, and Bayley. She’s a 24-year-old kick-ass competitor with an MMA background and a true fighting spirit.

Deville’s real name is Daria Berenato. She was born on September 23, 1993, in Shamong Township, New Jersey. Berenato is of Italian descent. She is also the first openly-lesbian wrestler to compete in the WWE.

Before professional wrestling, Berenato was involved with mixed martial arts. She began training and competing in MMA at the age of 17. Her current MMA win/loss record stands at 2 wins, 1 loss. Following her first defeat, Berenato auditioned for the sixth season of WWE Tough Enough. Despite not winning the competition, she was signed to a WWE contract in October 2015.

On December 30, 2015, Berenato made her in-ring debut in a losing effort against Nia Jax. In August 2016, she made her televised debut on NXT under her birth name Daria Berenato. During this time, she primarily competed in six-women’s tag team matches, losing each time. In May 2017, Berenato changed her ring name to Sonya Deville.

Daria Berenato really started to kick ass under the name of Sonya Deville, picking up a serious winning streak while defeating the likes of Zeda, Rachel Evers, Lacey Evans, and Jenna Van Bemel. At NXT TakeOVer: War Games, she competed in a fatal 4-way for the NXT Women’s Championship, but came up empty-handed.

In November 2017, Deville made her Monday Night Raw debut alongside best friend Mandy Rose. They were joined by “The Anti-Diva” Paige and collectively formed the trio known as Absolution. During their first night on the brand, they made their impressions felt, assaulting several members of the women’s division including Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Mickie James.

Deville has already been apart of history-making moments while with WWE. She competed in the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber matches. She also proudly represents the LGBTQ+ community as the first openly-lesbian wrestler signed with the company.

Jami Gertz was one of the NBA team representatives at the 2018 NBA Draft Lottery on Tuesday night in Chicago. Gertz was introduced as the part-owner of the Atlanta Hawks along with her husband, Tony Ressler. However, she is known to many as much, much more. Before she was involved in the NBA, Gertz was a standout actress starring in films like Crossroads, The Lost Boys, Less Than Zero and Quicksilver. She also played Judy Miller in the CBS sitcom Still Standing, and Debbie Weaver in the ABC sitcom The Neighbors.

As for why Gertz represented the Hawks at the 2018 NBA Draft Lottery, Hawks owner Tony Ressler told Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, “She’s been responsible for all my luck for the past 30 years.” The Hawks ended the night with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. Atlanta also holds the No. 19 overall pick (via the Minnesota Timberwolves) and the No. 30 overall pick (via the Houston Rockets).

After Gertz appeared on screen, everyone had some fun with the revelation that Ertz was part-owner of the Hawks.

The Hawks will make use of their three first-round picks when the 2018 NBA Draft takes place June 21, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. ET at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The draft will air live on ESPN.

Jessica Kaplan, a 31-year-old art teacher at Mayflower High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, was arrested on a charge of first-degree sexual assault. Police announced Tuesday night that an arrest was made after “sexual contact” was reported between a Mayflower High School teacher and student. The “sexual assault incident” was reported on Monday, according to police, and the Faulkner County prosecuting attorney’s office is reviewing the case.

Under Arkansas law, first-degree sexual assault applies when a person “engages in sexual intercourse or deviate sexual activity with a minor” and “position of trust or authority over the victim.”

“On Monday May 14, 2018, the School Resource Office was informed about an incident which allegedly involved sexual contact between a Mayflower High School student and a teacher employed within the Mayflower School District,” a statement from the Mayflower Police Department read. “Upon gathering further details from the reporting party, our School Resource Officer forwarded the case information to the Mayflower Police Departments’ Criminal Investigations Divisions. Upon their review of the provided information, a case file was created in reference to the reported incident.”

Kaplan was booked at 7:47 p.m. local time and is being held on $30,000 bond.

Mayflower Police Chief Robert Alcon says more information will be released as soon as they become available.

“When further information becomes available and in which that information would not compromise or have the potential to compromise any portion of the case or its further investigation, it will be released when possible,” he said in a statement. “We understand the legal process is sometimes uncomfortable and does not appear to be time efficient. But we have a duty to abide by all applicable laws and rules of criminal procedure when processing all matters of alleged criminal activity. We would appreciate the public’s patience during this time.

Over the course of just a few months, educators across the country were arrested for entering into an inappropriate relationship with their students, Tennessee teacher Janet Smothers, LaToya Parker, Florida teacher Caroline Lawson, 26-year-old Allyson Moran and Katherine Ross Ridenhour were all arrested on similar charges.

The list goes on to include 22-year-old Oklahoma science teacher Hunter Day, 28-year-old teacher Megan Kotarski, 23-year-old history teacher Michelle Schiffer, 29-year-old Alyssia Marie Reddy, special education teacher Jordan Ondish and 28-year-old Samantha Fitzpatrick have all been allegedly carrying on inappropriate relationships with their students.

In addition, 31-year-old Nicole Marie Andrews, 32-year-old Jessica Langford, 29-year-old Andrea Baber, 27-year-old Robin Dunlap, 27-year-old Jennifer Olajire-Aro have also been charged with these charges.

42-year-old Heather Butts of California was arrested on a second-degree felony charge, Nancy Leigh Ann Brann, a former Christian school teacher, was arrested for having sex with a student, Coine Audiat pleaded no contest to having sex with a minor in 2016 and 23-year-old Darci Lake was arrested for an inappropriate relationship. 27-year-old Brittany Zamora from Arizona was arrested on similar charges.

UFC Moscow has become a reality. On Wednesday morning, the Ultimate Fighting Championship confirmed a long-rumored event will be taking place in the Russian capital. It marks the leading mixed martial arts promotion’s first-ever trip to Russia. There is one change, however, with the event being a UFC Fight Night rather than a rumored pay-per-view.

UFC officials announced that a card will take place on Sept. 15 at Olimpiyskiy Arena.

“Russia is a key part of UFC’s international expansion strategy,” UFC senior vice president of international and content David Shaw said in a statement. “The demand from our fans to bring a live event to Russia has been overwhelming, and with the vast potential this market holds for us, we knew this was the perfect time to bring UFC Fight Night to Moscow.”

Along with the announcement that the UFC will be heading to the Russian capital, the promotion introduced Andre Gromkovski as the new vice president for UFC Russia.

No fights for the event have been confirmed at this time and it is highly unlikely that UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov will be among the promotion’s Russian stars who will fight on the card.

However, tickets are set to go on sale June 1 so you can expect to hear some announcements in the coming weeks.
